Emily Mathews Photography

Hello! My name is Emily and I am an aspiring photographer! Photography and taking pictures that I am proud of brings me such joy and gets me so excited! But here's a little bit about me: 

 

I am a Sophomore in college, studying digital media with a photography minor. I love Jesus and I seriously cannot wait for His plan for me to continue to be releaved as I search for His heart and try to follow Him each day. I don't know much, but I do know that anything is possible with God, so I am SO excited to see where He will take me! I am also into music...I play guitar and sing and I have to admit that another one of my dreams, next to photography, is to record a CD of original songs someday. Many people would think that I am quiet when they first meet me, but if you get to know me, I promise that I am really fun and not as quiet as you might think when you first meet me! I am also SUPER into volleyball...I have been playing for about 4-5 hours of volleyball pretty much every day lately and I love it!

 

I do not pretend to be the best photographer out there and I know that there is SO much that I have yet to learn, but if you're willing to give me a try, I am willing to work with you! I am not a professional yet, but I am learning more and more each day and, like I said before, I am super excited to see where God takes me in this journey.

Any advice you could give me would be much appreciated, as I will be the first to tell you that I have so much to learn (as I said earlier) and I believe that a photographer should always be learning something...whether it's about a new camera, a new lens, or simply new poses/angles to try out!
