One day I checked my Photography Facebook page and I saw that I had a message from someone that I did not know. Obviously, I was pretty excited, because previous to this, I had shot mostly family/friends. This meant that my 'name' was getting out there a little bit! She asked me to take pictures of her two kids somewhere in Dayton. I agreed. So I printed out directions (I don't have a GPS or an Iphone, unfortunately!), grabbed my camera & tripod, and asked my little sister to come with me. We were fine until we got more into downtown Dayton...I'm not used to driving in a 'city' (even though it was just Dayton!) and we got so lost :p haha! There were so many one way streets and streets randomly ended and it was so confusing! We eventually made it to the Garden, though, though we were a bit late! 

I enjoyed running around with these kids, attempting to capture real smiles.

On the way back home, I thought that I would be fine getting back because I had gotten there! But no, I got lost again...because, no joke, a street just ended...the rest of it was a one-way street going the other way-and I was so confused! But, I obviously made it back eventually!

 

So, basically it was an adventure, but I like adventures! So it was a good experience and now I sort of/kind of know how to get there now!
